Independent artists deserve to be heard, and In The Groove loves to give them the air time. Tonights show is devoted almost entirely to this effort. Island Shuffle

This podcast is inspired by the songs on my iPod Shuffle (tm) that kept me In the Groove while on vacation at Sanibel Island in Florida last week. Its an eclectic mix to be sure, but that is what the shuffle is all about. The music ranges from modern and 60's hard bop, latin, fusion, rock and even jazz influenced bluegrass... but it all swings hard.

Secret Sax

Some of the best kept secrets in Jazz are the relatively unknown group of great sax players on the scene today. These cats deserve greater recognition and this show is dedicated to doing just that. Its not likely that you will hear these great sax players anywhere on commercial radio. So take note of these awesome musicians.
