Best of Jazz Albums List

I was recently turned on to Len Lyon's The 101 Best Jazz Albums: A History of Jazz on Records. Though I have not read the book, I found this list of albums on the Internet. There are many best of Jazz lists, but I found this one very intriguing, well categorized and with some selections I had not seen before on such lists. While it has the obvious entries, I also discovered some great gems that I had not heard before.
