Joyous Spring
This show begins with a celebration of Spring starting with one of my favorite standards that is sure to put you in a joyous mood, Joy Spring. We keep in the Spring theme and segue to our featured artist Jimmy Greene who performed Friday evening in New Haven's Firehouse12. Jimmy is becoming one of the premier tenor players on the scene today. We feature Jimmy Greene from 3 different albums including 2 from a soon to be released CD entitled Mission Statement. We also hear from Ralph Peterson's Fo'tet and much more.

I believe, Walt Weiskopf is one of the most tricky and sharpe saxophone player. This tune "Breakdown" is the one that I think so.
