Primo Piano

Tonight's broadcast features some great new piano jazz. Its not your typical piano set. The sound is new and modern. Other than Chick, you may not have heard these artists before. One of the goals of this show is  to introduce new or little known jazz artists to our listening community. We also pay tribute to Esbjorn Svensson the anchor of E.S.T., who passed away in a tragic scuba diving accident this week.

Hi Ken...
My name is Caio, I am from Brazil, I'm 20 and discovering the world of jazz... I've been listening jazz for the last 2 or 3 years and I really enjoy it. I discovered your program very recently, and I liked it very much, I subscribed at iTunes.
I listened to almost all episodes and loved it, i like both Jazz and Fusion, and you play all of it...
I would like to suggest a program dedicated to Brazilian music, and other musicians influenced by Brazilian music... I don't know if you like our music, but I think Brazil has some relevance in the history of jazz...

Alright, I'm really sorry for my English, I hope you can understand me...

Best Regards,

Caio.

Hi Ken,
Let me congratulate (once more) you for all these great posts. I'm happy to see that other people from Brazil are takin' care of ITG.

Caio,
Good to know that young people like you are exploring the fantastic world of Jazz.
Regards from Perdizes, Sao Paulo, Brasil.
