Live at 55

This show is inspired by last evenings performance by Bob Reynolds at 55Bar in NYC. We'll hear not only from Bob, but bassist Janek Gwizdala and Oli Rockberger from their own recordings. 55Bar is a great venue in New York city that hosts some of the finest new jazz cats on the scene. You can usually find the great guitarist Mike Stern there on Monday nights when he is not on the road. Also featured on this show is Ingrid Jensen, a fine trumpeter and composer who we first discovered at this club. I also posted a couple of YouTube videos that Claire shot at last nights gig.

If you like that one, catch Video number 2 with a great solo by bassist Janek Gwizdala.

Hej Ken,

I think this is one of your best shows! B. Reynolds and J. Gwizdala sound amazing!!

You're doing a great job - thank you!

Cheers,
Tom from Sweden

PS: Here's an idea: Why not putting links to the distributors of the CDs you play? Most of them are pretty easy to get hold of (except maybe for J. Gwizdala and Drop Trio) - but still ...
