A John McLaughlin Celebration

For me, whenever a new John McLauglin album is released, it is a cause for celebration. It was JM, and the Mahavishnu Orchestra that opened my mind up to jazz music. Like many others of my generation that listened to Mahavishnu, we then listened to his work with Miles, than to Chick, Herbie, Shorter, and from their spread out to the many facets of Jazz. This week John McLaughlin released Industrial Zen. We will play several cuts from that album as well as JM from the past and other examples of his influence on modern jazz and fusion.
